AI powered video transcription is now generally available!

In early July, we announced the Video Model Hub to help you benefit from the AI revolution without needing to set up servers or models, juggle prompts, or implement third-party services yourself.

 

The adoption of the beta in the sandbox has been incredible. Over 11,000 videos were augmented by AI in the first 30 days, and we received countless requests asking when these features would be available in production.

   

Today, we’re excited to launch the first one powered by the Video Model Hub: AI transcription.

• Open source models we only use open source models to ensure transparency and maximize reliability. Transcriptions are generated by the most powerful model to date: Whisper.
• Your data is yours, and yours alone We do not use your data to train models, nor do we sell or share any data generated from your videos with third parties.
• Secure, in-house processing AI models are hosted and run within our own infrastructure. This means your data remains securely within the api.video environment, with no information being sent to external partners, third-party SaaS providers like OpenAI, or any other outside entities.
