About TypeScript
TypeScript is an open-source programming language developed by Microsoft. It's a superset of JavaScript, meaning that it builds on top of JavaScript by adding static typing and other features to help developers write more robust and scalable code.
TypeScript compiles down to plain JavaScript, allowing it to run on any browser or JavaScript engine. It's particularly popular for large-scale JavaScript applications, as it helps catch errors early in the development process and provides better tooling support for complex projects.
About the Desktop Video Synchronizer from api.video
The Desktop Video Synchronizer is a desktop application that allows you to easily synchronize and upload all the videos files stored in a given folder of your computer to api.video.
Requirements:
At the moment, the application is compatible with MacOS & Windows.
What is meant by "synchronization"
Synchronization is a one-way process: the videos you add to the synchronized directory are sent to your api.video account. On the other hand:
- if you delete a file from your synchronized folder, it won't be deleted from your api.video account,
- if you add a file in your api.video account by another way, it won't be downloaded in your synchronized folder
